The Real Oviedo first-team squad has stepped up its preparations ahead of the league curtain-raiser this Sunday at the NMR Carlos Tartiere.
The team began the morning session with some video work, before going through a workout lasting over an hour on the pitch. They then did close to another 90 minutes' work under Ziganda from 18:30 onwards.
Carlos Hernández is now training with the rest of his teammates like normal. Rodri has missed the first three sessions of the week after suffering a shoulder injury during the final preseason friendly last Saturday. He is awaiting the final test results and medical analysis in order to confirm the diagnosis.
The team will have a single training session from 17:00 on Thursday at El Requexón.
