Real Oviedo midfielder Santi Cazorla appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning.

Having now joined back up with group training, the local lad reasoned that "I'm feeling good and starting to get back up to speed after being out for a month, but I'm still not up to the speed of my teammates. I am here for whatever the team needs. I need more training sessions, but we have to take risks, and I am available for the weekend."

Asked about what he has made of the team from the touchline, Cazorla stated that "it's been tough for me, you always want to help. I want to be back with the team now, go into the five remaining 'cup finals' and help however I can. I was in my best form, and having to stop was a shame. I am excited about getting back into form."

Regarding how he feels and whether he will be available for the encounter with SD Huesca, the Asturian explained that "I want to play as much as possible, but it depends on what the Gaffer decides. We all have to be available, but whoever is out, the team will still be able to compete very well. If we weigh it up, I have missed Real Oviedo more than the team has missed me."

With respect to how the team is going into the final five matches of the regular league season, Santi Cazorla believes that "we have to enjoy what we are experiencing. We are finding the situation and the responsibility tough, and it can't be a burden. The demands might have been tough for us to deal with, but we have to learn how to deal with that. Having it in our own hands and depending on ourselves is weighing us down. We have to change and go back to being the team we were before."

Going into the weekend's fixture at El Alcoraz, the midfielder commented that "there are no easy matches. The division is even and can get complicated for you. It's a difficult match, and they are under a lot more pressure than we are. We have to make the most of the situation, we all have something at stake."

Finally, asked about the fact that the team has three away matches left and only two home ones, Cazorla highlighted that "if you let me choose then I prefer to play at home in front of our fans, but we have to know how to compete away from home. The team is prepared to compete with anybody."
