Borja Sánchez joined Los Azules when he was still a boy, in the 'Cadete' age group, before starting a journey through several different teams. Real Madrid, Fuenlabrada CF and RCD Mallorca helped him to continue growing before he returned home, leading the B team to promotion in May 2018. Since then his progression has been dramatic, making his way up to become a first team regular.
