Real Oviedo Vetusta won 2-1 away at Coruxo FC today to secure their third consecutive victory. The B team, which put in a very professional performance and was clinical in front of goal, picked up a crucial triumph and moving out of the relegation zone.

Los Azules went into the encounter in good form after beating Cayón and Guijuelo in the previous two fixtures, and it was clear to see from the kick-off. The Asturians started strongly, and Sesé opened the scoring from a fine Dieguito cross in the 16th minute. After taking the lead Jaime Álvarez's team continued to push forward, and in the 32nd minute Dieguito doubled the advantage with a great strike. The Galicians also threatened, but a good performance from Marco in goal saw the score remain 0-2 at half-time.

Coruxo CF pushed forward after the interval, and would cut the deficit in the 70th minute. Shortly afterwards, Vanderson had the chance to level the scores from a one-on-one, but Marco saved the day for Vetusta. The B team stood strong against the home side's attacks during the final stages and held on for a third consecutive win. The three points see the team move out of the relegation zone for the time being.

Three wins in a row and the best run of form of the campaign move the team onto 28 points. Next weekend will see Real Oviedo Vetusta face league leaders Pontevedra at home.
