Real Oviedo have added another game to the preseason schedule, bringing the summer preparation calendar to a close. Veljko Paunovic’s team will visit CD Leganés at 10:30 on Saturday 9th August for a match at Butarque Stadium.
This will be the last test for Los Azules before the official start of the league season, adding to the list of friendlies already confirmed:
· 26th July: First pre-season match against Getafe CF at La Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas, starting at 20:00.
· 31st July: Participation in GarraFest, a three-team tournament against Villarreal CF and Genoa CFC, which will pay tribute to the 75th anniversary of the death of Carlos Tartiere as well as the legacy of Santi Cazorla. This event is part of the Club's Centenary celebrations and will combine sports, music and tradition.
· 3rd August: Match against Cultural Leonesa at the Marqués de la Vega de Anzo pitch in Grao, starting at 19:00.
· 6th August: Match for the LXXIV Emma Cuervo Trophy in Ribadeo, against RC Deportivo de La Coruña, also at 19:00.
With the final friendly against Leganés, Real Oviedo will complete their preparations for the return to LA LIGA EA Sports, which will begin 15th August with the trip to Villarreal CF.
