Thursday's evening training session was moved to the Carlos Tartiere, where Ziganda's side continued preparations ahead of the start of the LaLiga SmartBank season. The opening fixture will see Real Oviedo play CD Lugo at home.

After beginning with a video session, the first team trained out on the same pitch where they will play the first game of the season. The workout was based around ball work, with the players going through several exercises before doing tactical work. Having now passed his medical, Borja Bastón worked on his own with the fitness coach.

The next training session is scheduled to begin at 10:00 tomorrow (Friday) at El Requexón.
