Real Oviedo Vetusta began a new year this afternoon against Marino de Luanco at El Requexón, with a starting eleven made up of: Marco, Osky, Lucas Laso, Yayo, Nnoshiri, Masca, Izan, René Pérez, Víctor Blanco, Sesé and Charbel.

Jaime Álvarez's team dominated the match, and would take the lead in the 11th minute through a Masca flick. A long ball from René Pérez found Víctor Blanco, and the midfielder's cross would be met superbly by the Portuguese forward to make the score 1-0.

 

Marino de Luanco levelled the scoring in the 25th minute following a defensive error. However, Real Oviedo Vetusta heads did not drop, and Sesé went close to making the score 2-1. The two teams went in for halftime with the score still 1-1.

 

The second half followed a similar pattern to the first, and Masca would put Vetusta back into the lead in the 57th minute. The visitors kept trying throughout the encounter, but the B team showed their maturity in not only holding onto their lead, but also extending it futher. Masca would complete his hattrick in the 62nd minute and ensure that the three points went to Vetusta.
