The 2022/23 season got off to an early start this morning at El Requexón. There were reunions in the form of hugs, and presentations in the form of smiles filled with excitement. There were two new signings present, as well as a group of academy players, as Jon Pérez Bolo and his coaching staff led their first training session.

The full squad completed an antigen test, before going out to work on the pitch. Work began at 10:10, with the team receiving warm applause from the gathered Oviedistas as they went out to train. A large group of fans and the media hadn't wanted to miss Bolo's first day in charge of Real Oviedo training, and they enjoyed an open training session lasting almost two hours.

The team will go back to work at 10:00 tomorrow (Wednesday) at El Requexón.
