The Press Room at El Requexón today provided the setting for the presentation of the award that recognises Sergi Enrich as the Mahou 5 Estrellas Player of the Month for April. The striker has put in great performances throughout this month that have helped the team to its best run of form this season and, through this award, the Oviedistas have recognised his key role during these last matches. “It is a prize that is worthwhile, because it means that I have individually done things well, but I’d like to highlight the group because without the team it would not have been possible.”
“We have had a spectacular month and I am very proud of it. The key to getting to this moment like this has been to never give up and always be prepared,” explained Sergi Enrich.
The Spaniard also spoke about the importance of the fans and what their support means to the team. “I had already been told about the club and the fans, who are incredible. They are fanatical and for us they are very important. They know that they are important to us and hopefully we can achieve great things to celebrate together,” he expressed.
