The Press Room at El Requexón provided the backdrop as Saúl Berjón was presented with the award for ‘Jugador Cinco Estrellas’ Player of the Month for January. Saúl Berjón is a key member of the Real Oviedo attack, bringing both goals and assists to the team and becoming the leading assist-maker in La Liga 1|2|3 this season. He was selected as the winner by the fans of Los Azules, who chose between the five players nominated by the beer company on their Twitter profile, @futbolmahou.

Following the presentation of the award, the winger answered questions from the gathered press, declaring that, “the team is in good shape and hungry. We are feeling good and we are going to continue working in the same way.”

Finally, looking ahead to the next match against Albacete, the Asturian underlined that, “I want to win. We are going back home, and we have to try to get the three points.” In addition, with respect to the upcoming opponents, Saúl said that, “we are two good teams. It’s going to be a difficult match, but we need to do better than they do. We mustn’t relax or think that it’s going to be easy. Things are going well for them, and they will make it difficult for us,” concluded the Carbayón.
