The Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere today hosted the official presentation of Santiago Homenchenko as a new Real Oviedo player. The midfielder appeared alongside Managing Director Agustín Lleida and Director of Football Roberto Suárez in front of the media today.
"I am coming here to live in the present, taking it one step at a time with hard work. I am comfortable here, and it's better than I had expected. We are focused on Saturday's fixture now. I am happy to be here, and am coming here to help the team. I want to adapt quickly to the level that there is here. The Segunda División is the fifth best league in the world."
Agustín Lleida and Roberto Suárez then took to the microphone to discuss the latest news at the club, with the Managing Director beginning by saying that "on an internal level we always defend the interests of the club, but we aren't going to make any statements in public. We have to focus on the weekend's fixture."
