The Press Room at the NMR Carlos Tartiere today hosted the official presentation of Nahuel Leiva as a Real Oviedo player.
Nahuel was accompanied by the club's Director of Football Francesc Arnau, who described him as "a game-changing player on the left wing, who is coming in to contribute his experience, ability to beat a defender, and quality to the team, and to be important."  The winger then answered the questions put to him by the media.
Regarding what he can bring to the team, the new Real Oviedo player reasoned that "I've had a long career and I'm coming in to contribute my experience and help the team with my  qualities.  Helping the team is the most important thing."
Asked about his positional preferences out on the pitch, Nahuel stated that "that's up to the Coach.  I am going to work day-to-day to be in the best possible condition for the weekends."
With respect to his loan move, the attacker commented that "it all happened very quickly.  There was interest and I said that I wanted to come here right from the beginning.  I'm here and I am very hungry.  I can see it's a family club and I've been told very good things about it.  The club, the treatment, the day-to-day work... it's made me decide quickly.  I hope it's a great year, and I want to have the confidence to be an important player."
Finally, asked about his teammates and the reception at El Requexón, Nahuel said that "a nice team is being made.  Young, hungry players, and a good group is being made.  I hope it's a great year for everyone.  I've been welcomed very well and you can see it's a united group.  Young people, veterans... that's the nice bit.  The squad is going in the same direction.  The  Gaffer's idea is to always attack, push forward, and be organised."
