Real Oviedo midfielder Luismi appeared before the media today, at the start of a new working week at El Requexón.
Following the team's draw against Amorebieta at Lezama yesterday afternoon, the Andalusian has analysed what the result means for Los Azules. "At the end of the day, we need to take that extra step away from home. The team has shown itself capable of winning away matches. Teams put you under more pressure away from home, we all have a lot at stake, and they are difficult matches. We have to take that step up to get the three points away from home. We need to have that consistency in our play and carry it with us on the road. The opponents are all teams with a lot at stake and if we don't carry our home form away with us then it is going to be difficult. We have to step up to grow and win the away games, it's been a long time since we won away. To stay up towards the top of the table we have to win the away matches."
With respect to his feelings on an individual level, the Real Oviedo midfielder admitted that "it's true that I've been finding it hard to get going, I wasn't playing more than three consecutive matches at a time. I'm getting consistency now and I need to keep working hard so that the Gaffer believes in me."
Finally, ahead of next weekend's match, which will see Huesca visit the Tartiere, Luismi stated that "we have a difficult match this week. We have to prepare for it as well as possible. Our objective is to get to fifty points, and then whatever comes after that will be good news."
