Real Oviedo and Lucas Laso have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract with Los Azules. The new deal will see the defender remain with the Asturians until June 2025.
The centre back joined the club in the summer of 2019 and he is currently one of the most important players in the B team. This season saw the defender play 22 matches and a total of 1,780 minutes prior to suffering a season-ending ACL injury in March. In addition, Lucas Laso has also represented the Spanish national team's under-17 side.
This contract renewal sees Real Oviedo stay true to their objective of backing talent developed at El Requexón and to its academy model.
