Real Oviedo picked up another victory this afternoon to continue their good run of form, with the three points this time coming away at Bergantiños.
Jaime Álvarez’s side remain focused on attempting to escape from the lower reaches of the table, and today’s win came against a direct rival in that area of the division.
Masca, with two goals, was once again the main man, in a match which got off to the best possible start for Los Azules. The Portuguese striker gave the B team the lead in the sixth minute, applying the finishing touch to a fine cross from Charbel. Real Oviedo had the match under control, and sealed the victory in the second half, with Masca adding his second from the penalty spot.
Los Azules added another three points to their tally today. They will travel to Galicia once again next time out, this time to face Compostela. The fixture will kick off at 17:00 on Sunday at the Vero Boquete.
