Real Oviedo defender Simone Grippo today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
How was your return to league action and your first taste of playing in an empty stadium?
- It's a bit different.  Normally the fans are there and they give us a hand.  It was special, but we've got used to it in recent games.  I'm happy to be back playing.
How did you feel during the match?
Good.  The truth is that I felt secure.  The whole team helped.
The team has improved defensively, but, what is now needed in order to create more in attack?
- I think that we need to move the ball quickly and create spaces in front of us.  We've had other matches, like the Dépor and Sporting ones, where we outplayed them.
What did you think of Ziganda speaking highly of your day-to-day work and praising your performance last night?
- At the end of the day, everyone tries to contribute as much as they can. It doesn't matter who plays, the important thing is Real Oviedo and getting out of trouble as quickly as possible.
Do you think that Sunday's match is key in the fight for survival?  Do you think it will be important to capitalise on Numancia's lower morale on Sunday?
- They are down there, but there are still matches to go.  People talk about 'cup finals', and they are important matches, but this doesn't end here.  We have to be strong in every match that's left.
How do you see the squad, having now gone six matches unbeaten?
- It's a good run, but we need more points.  It gives us confidence, and we just have to keep going.
You signed a contract until the end of the season, with an extension depending on objectives.  What is your current situation?  Do you want to stay at Real Oviedo next season?
- Of course I do, that's why I've come here.
