Real Oviedo midfielder Santi Colombatto was today presented with the award naming him September's 'Jugador 5 Estrellas Mahou' Player of the Month. "I am happy and grateful. It's a reward for my effort and for what I am. I hope that things go well and I will try to give it my best and chase my dream."
Despite the little time that he has been in Asturias, Colombatto was clear that "I would like to stay here, but this is football and sometimes it doesn't depend on you. The city, the stadium, and the fans have surprised me a lot since I arrived. You can really feel the fans when you are out on the pitch, and they are very important for us."
Luis Carrión's side will train every day this week in the lead-up to Saturday's fixture against SD Amorebieta.
