Real Oviedo winger Yoel Bárcenas made an appearance in the press room at El Requexón.
After several weeks in Oviedo, the Panamanian stated, “I’ve felt good here, I’m adapting. My teammates have brought me support and I feel comfortable. I knew that Real Oviedo was a great club, very well organized. It’s an elite team, I’m happy with everything I’m seeing.”
On his preparation with the season about to start, Yoel highlighted that, “I’m ready. I have to do whatever the coach asks me to and work hard. Little by little I’m seeing what football is like here. These are competitive matches that are won by small details.” Specifically, regarding what Anquela asks of him, Bárcenas stated that, “There are a few concepts, and they aren’t new to me. Intensity and hard work, that’s what he wants.”
When asked about his good relationship with Diegui Johannesson, the Panamanian affirmed that, “I get along really well with him; that communication is good for the pitch.”
Finally, regarding the competition with Saúl and Aarón, Yoel commented that, “It’s healthy. I’m here to help with whatever the gaffer asks of me, to contribute to the team in any part of the pitch,” the Panamanian concluded.
