Real Oviedo went back to work this morning, having enjoyed a few days of rest over Christmas. There were happy faces on display among Álvaro Cervera's players, as they returned to El Requexón.

 

The first-team squad began the workout in the gym, before heading out onto Pitch 4, where a good number of Oviedistas were waiting for them. Photos, autographs, and applause from the youngest fans saw the players head into their first session back with renewed energy.

 

Tomorrow will see a double training session at El Requexón for a team which heads into the end of 2022 with renewed optimism.
