Real Oviedo defender Alejandro Arribas appeared in the Press Room this morning after the team had trained behind closed doors.
Having not had a fixture this weekend, the Madrid-born centre back said that "we are hungry for Thursday to arrive.  We are up against a great opponent at a difficult ground.  It's a level playing field and anything can happen.  We need the three points and we are going to win."
Regarding his chances of returning to the starting eleven after suspension, the defender reasoned that "that's up to the Coach.  I am ready and hungry to contribute to the team.  It's true that I had been playing (before the suspension), and if I'm called upon then I am available to the team."
Asked about the transfer market and possible movement at the club, Arribas highlighted that "everyone knows that anything can happen.  We need normality and to continue training.  We have to be a competitive team. Nothing else matters."
In relation to the next opponent, Almería, the centre back highlighted that "they have quality players and it will be tough.  I'm sure we will produce a great match.  The Coach knows what we have to do to win.  We are working on it."
Finally, with respect to his feelings ahead of the second half of the season, the defender stated that "my performance has been improving.  I hope to get up to my best in the second half of the season."
