Real Oviedo Head Coach Álvaro Cervera appeared before the Press this morning at El Requexón.
The Gaffer began by highlighting the importance of the time they have had to train this week, with no midweek fixture. "We are working on the things that we want to train. We are working on intensity and giving the players the idea of what I believe is best for the team. I prefer these types of weeks, where we can train and relax."
Regarding the recovery from injuries of players such as Borja Sánchez, Sergi Enrich and Pomares, Cervera declared himself "happy to have them available."
The side's next opponent will be SD Ponferradina, and the Coach described them as "a difficult opponent, who play good football and are dangerous on the counter attack. They can hurt you in both phases of the game." The Gaffer wants Real Oviedo to continue picking up points in order to move up the table and "avoid getting ourselves into trouble."
