Real Oviedo Vetusta did not have their day at Mareo today, where they lost 5-1 to Sporting B.
Los Azules went into today's match with a starting eleven made up of Marco; Moreno, René, Lucas Laso, Osky; Eloy Ordóñez, Mangel, Yayo, Abel; Álex Cardero and Pedregal. They were outplayed by the hosts, and went in for halftime with the score 3-0.
After the interval the Coach made four changes, bringing on Joselu, Marc Alegre, Chus and Isaac as they tried to cut the deficit and turn the match around. The home team were more clinical in front of goal, however, and added a further two strikes. Vanderson made his return after a serious knee injury, as he came on in the final substitution. René Pérez would grab a goal for Vetusta in the final minute.
Real Oviedo go into the final match of the season with a one-point lead over Sporting B and will have to beat CD Colunga. The fixture will kick off at 17:00 at the Carlos Tartiere.
Vetusta faces CD Coria in the final of the promotion playoff.
