Real Oviedo and AD Mérida have reached an agreement for Real Oviedo Vetusta defender Charbel González to join the Extremeñan side on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season.
The full back, born in 2004, this year completed his second season with the Real Oviedo B team, playing a total of 19 matches and 772 minutes. As well as being a key man in the B team's first season in Segunda Federación in 2021/22, Charbel was also called up to the full Dominican Republic national squad for the first time this year.
The defender will now join AD Mérida on loan, as he looks to continue to grow and progress as a player. His new side will be in Primera Federación again next season, having finished in twelfth place with 47 points this campaign.
