Blanco Leschuk Signs for Real Oviedo

The striker arrives from Antalyaspor on a loan deal running until the end of the season

Real Oviedo has reached an agreement with Antalyaspor to sign striker Blanco Leschuk on a loan deal running until 30th June 2021.  The deal will be made permanent in the event of promotion.
Gustavo Blanco Leschuk is 28 years old and was born on 5th November 1991 in Mendoza, Argentina.  He came through the youth teams at Argentinian side Arsenal CF, and stands out due to his experience, having played in Argentina, Russia, Morocco, Sweden, Ukraine and Turkey.  During his career he has represented Arsenal CF, Deportivo Merlo, Anzhi, Wydad AC, Assyriska FF, Karapatu, Shakhtar Donetsk, Málaga and Antalyaspor, from whom he now joins Real Oviedo.  He played more than thirty games for the Turkish side last season, registering five goals and three assists.  Blanco Leschuk is familiar with LaLiga after playing for Málaga 39 times in the regular season, with nine goals and seven assists, before participating in playoff matches for promotion to LaLiga Santander.
The Argentine is a target man, capable of creating build-up play and a good finisher, whose relentless workrate also stands out.
